Some lessons/examples from the Church at Philadelphia (Revelation 3):

  1. They kept God’s word
  2. They didn’t deny His Name
  3. They exemplified”brotherly love”
  4. They were a pure, holy church, faithful to the Word
  5. The church had victory over sin
  6. The church had a great evangelical (outward-looking) and adventist (looking for Jesus’ return) outlook

Also, they were a small church, and the only one of the seven churches addressed in Revelation for which there was no rebuke or correction offered.
