Just me and the kids

Image Just me and the kids is a twelve week program to help adults and children overcome the effects of divorce and the stress of single parenting. The program consists of discussion session to bring understanding of the grieving process and handy tips to help with time management and the challenges facing single parents in raising their children. A very valuable and worth-while for anybody in this situation!

Children are led through the process in a fun way through the medium of handcrafts.

A typical evening starts with a meal together at 5:45pm followed by a short teaching and a group discussion. The evening ends at 8:00pm. Not only relieves it the parent from the stress of getting food on the table after a day’s work, but important matters are dealt with in a time-effective way.

Ministry to Seniors

Ministry to Seniors is a Bible Study event, for the moment at Mackenzie House in Newmarket.

Sharing Compassion

This is an outreach to those in the community who need some help with the necessities of life. We do this through monthly financial support to Food Pantry, food vouchers to the truly needy, handing out blankets to the homeless in winter, etc.

Iglesia Hispana

The Hispanic Service takes place at 3:00pm on Sundays in the sanctuary of Living Water Faith Fellowship. Services are, of course, led in Spanish. Also small group meetings during the week for Spanish speaking people.
