God ordained for mankind to work. “Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend (cultivate) and keep it.” (Genesis 2:15) To cultivate is “to prepare land for sowing, to improve or develop something, usually by study or education.” Even though Adam lived in ideal circumstances, it seems he still had to learn about his environment, and work. Later, when the law came, God instructed His people to work for six days a week and rest on the seventh day. God Himself worked for six days in creation. Work is part and parcel of life, but it should not be seen as punishment because it has sure rewards, and they are rich and fulfilling.

At Living Water Faith Fellowship we see ourselves a “life-giving” church. By this we mean, first of all, that we don’t exist merely as a religious organization with the purpose of having services or doing good works. Religion is commonly known as “having the appearance of godliness without the power of God.” At a life-giving church anyone can receive new life in Christ Jesus because of a living faith that is present there. The message preached and taught generates faith the hearts of all, enabling them to live the kind of life that speaks of the goodness of a caring God. The best way to preach the good news is to be it!

The word ‘truth’ is a mystery. Not many definitions exist, and those that can be found aren’t really helpful. The question that Pilate asked Jesus over 2000 years ago, still hangs in the air. That is, if you look for it in the wrong places.
